This is a tree, growing from the piles of rotting books of an abandoned public school district’s book depository in Detroit.
I’ll do you one better. My character is always the one starting the angsty fight and then I get sad about it. Let’s be emotionally damaged together.Intellectuall y, I know it is fucking deranged to be so emotionally invested in fictional relationships of fictional characters that I pretend to be. But Jesus, the cheating thing hurts.
Personally, I don’t see myself being that invested in something else. It’s more like projecting my actual feelings about stuff that has NOTHING to do with my RP characters. It’s a little like therapy that doesn’t cost $100.
If all you have to care about is ships and shows, then I feel sorry for you.
Because that’s fucking sad beyond belief.

My best friend is the assistant principal here.
So people want to fight over their ships and cry about their “endgames,” and that’s cool and all. But my best friend was in a school today that had the potential to be shot up by some angry kid with a grudge.
See, THIS is real life. THIS is not some TV show, book, or game. THIS is what I truly care about. THIS is someone - a real living, breathing person - I love waking up this morning and walking into a potentially bad situation.
Perspective, people. GET SOME.
Some people you meet in fandom are amazing human beings.
But there is always those few who are so categorically ridiculous that you cannot reconcile the fact that they’re any different in their real lives than they are when they participate in fandom (i.e. like petulant, name calling children).
Having a lot of Puck & St. Berry feelings today…clearly…
It just numbs my mind to all of the actual feelings surrounding this day. But it’s not doing the best job.
